Property case Hua HinAs nothing had been heard for a while, Mr. John and Mrs. Paula have decided to head back to Mr. Tuck Dechapanya, Head of the Executive Committee of Foreigner’s Centre, to find out the progress of the police investigation regarding their complaints. Fortunately, Mr. Tuck was able to meet with Pol. Col. Kittisak Phukhathiow, Deputy Commander of Provincial Police, who is in-charge of the Royal security, to intervene. As a consequence all the concerning police officers were assigned to hold an investigative meeting on May 2, 2008. The responsible police officer in-charge of the investigation, Pol. Lt. Col. Phuliet Doichuen-Ngarm has mentioned that there has been little progress due to documents presented as they needed to be translated into Thai and an interpreter needs to be present during the investigation.

Hua Hin Police Superintendent Pol. Col. Kasana Jaemsawang did mention at the meeting that he would firstly study the documents presented to determine as to whether these cases are Civil or Criminal, and it would also be dependent on the testimony of Mr. A.M. as well. He said that he would like to bring this investigation to a speedy conclusion as soon as the evidence has been gathered.

Pol. Col. Kittisak Phukhathiow disclosed that he strongly disapproved of those foreigners earning their living in Thailand by cheating and defrauding innocent foreign consumers, and if  any such cases are proven, offenders will be prosecuted immediately.
