On Friday 10 October 2008 in the afternoon at Hua Hin Market Village Hua Hin Surf 102.5 FM together with Market Village, Tourist Police, Ford Chareon Prachuap, Bean’s Leaf Café and Starbuck have organized and participated in a blood donation project for Hua Hin Red Cross.
This year blood donation took place from noon until 7pm. The well publicized event under Surf Young Blood slogan was officially opened by Police Major Cholsit Tiemtad who works for Hua Hin Tourist Police. Almost one hundred Hua Hin residents have donated blood to the Thai Red Cross Society. On hand there were many nurses to take care of the blood donors.
General Manager of Market Village Khun Yanyong Kanhawatana and his team were present all the time to help. Khun Yanyong said that the Market Village always have supported the local community. He always finds schools and villagers who need help. Hua Hin Market Village very often donates money to education fund, sport and school lunch projects for poor students. Often Hua Hin Market Village provides assistance to sick villagers and pay for hospital treatments and medicine.
