Hua Hin is nowadays one of the top destinations in Thailand for tourists from many countries. Many of the visitors are coming to Hua Hin play golf on the seven existing 18 holes professional golf courses in and around Hua Hin: Royal Hua Hin Palm Hills, Springfield, Milford, The Majestic Creek, Imperial Lake View, and Black Mountain. The eight golf course (Banyan) will be open shortly.
At this moment, there are two golf courses located behind a mountain at Hin Lek Fai Sub district, build by the foreign investors; they are Black Mountain and Banyan golf courses. Black Mountain has been completed with 18 holes; it is located behind the mountain, in the hug of the beautiful nature area. There is a clubhouse available for golfers wishing to stay in (most of them are foreigners). Black Mountain is now open.
Another golf course which Hua Hin Hotline Newspaper had the opportunity to survey around is Banyan. This project is expected to be completed in August of this year and this project needs 600 workers per day to carry out the construction work on the area of 500 Rais. The project owner tries to preserve the old natural atmosphere as far as possible he can, such as the forest stream flowing through the area. We had continued through 18 holes and other buildings which are built by using wood from Chiang Rai Province; a large clubhouse, a restaurant, relaxing areas for golfers and comfortable toilets for instances. The owner the Banyan Golf Course has assigned an experienced Japanese architect for planning and design of this project.
