Marking 100 days since H.R.H Galyani Vadhana has passed away


In the evening on 10th of April 2008 at 17.00 Hua Hin District Chief Officer Mr. Prasit Boonlikit has presided over merit making ceremony to mark 100 days since H.R.H Galyani Vadhana has passed away. To the ceremony were invited monks (for chanting), officials from all government sectors, police officers, scouts and other businessmen.

The ceremony took place in the Grand Auditorium of Ampharam Temple, Hua Hin. The leader of the ceremony had opened a cone filled with flowers and has saluted H.R.H Galyani Vadhana’s painting. Hua Hin Police Station Superintendent Pol. Col. Kasana Chaemsawang lit a candle and incense sticks to pay homage to the Buddha image before monks have started blessing chants. There were a lot of government officers in white formal uniforms wearing mourning black bands.

The ceremony was also attended by the teachers from Wangklaikangwon School and Wangklaikangwon Vocational College led by Khun Yuwanit Sornsil. The religious ceremony has lasted one hour.
