One Hua Hin resident has donated 3 rai of his land to Abbot Cha Luay and during next 4 year temple has been build. After temple has been finished Grand Abbot Cha Luay has moved to the jungle to find a land around Walai village, which would be a quite place, ideal for a meditation. However Abbot Kan stayed at Ton Kate Temple until now.

HM the King and Queen have visited Ton Kate Temple. Very often the royal prince and princess visited the temple too. HM the King presented the King's “Charkri” symbol to the temple and it has been placed on the Chapel near the roof. This is the only temple which has received this symbol.
