Hua Hin referendumOn Sunday 19 August 2007 Thais have voted in the referendum on the new constitution. They have to answer either Yes or No. In Hua Hin District there are 150 voting booths, and Hua Hin's polling stations will be open for voting between 08.00 am - 04.00 pm.

Governor of Prachuab Khiri Khan Khun Prasong  Pitulkisja has surveyed Hua Hin District. He said that in Hua Hin District about 25% of voters have cast their vote between 08.00 – 12.00. He believes that by 4.00 pm about 60-65 % of residents eligible to vote will cast their vote.

The Governor, three Vice-Governors, Khun Pongfsak  Plaivete, Khun Bongkarn Limprapan, and Khun Sanit Boonkohskul, local Policeman together with government officials have inspected polling station in Prachuab Khiri Khan Province.

Khun Arkom Jeensoonthorn Hua Hin election committee official said the voting in Hua Hin runs smoothly and he expects that a large percentage of local residents will cast their votes in the referendum.
