On Sunday 23 September 2007 Lord Abbot Pra Udom Prachanart from Klongwan Temple came to Hua Hin together with one hundred thirty five monks. They arrived in the morning in time for a merit by Hua Hin residents.
The monks had a breakfast at border police which are stationed opposite the Klai Kangwon Palace. After breakfast, all the hundred thirty five monks had their photo taken in front of the Klai Kangwon Palace.
The monks had a prayer and offered blessing for HM the King Bhommipol Adulyadej. After prayers all the monks took part in a procession through Hua Hin. They walked pass by Hua Hin residents who offered them dry foods. More than three hundred residents have gathered on the road in front of the palace to make a merit for the monks.
Another group of about five hundred Hua Hin residents have gathered next to the tower clock. More than one hundred tables with food were prepared for the merit. The procession of monks lead by Pra-Prasong Pitulkisja has arrived from both side of the tower clock. After receiving food the monks have returned to Klongwan Temple.
