Hua Hin Dogs Days - Day 1


Hua Hin Dogs DayOn Monday 7 November 2007 Governor of Prachuab Khiri Khan Khun Prasong Pitylkisja has opened Hua Hin Dogs Day at the Phone-Kingpet public park in Hua Hin.

Khun Prasong has thanked Hua Hin residents for coming to the opening ceremony of Hua Hin Dogs Day. There are many dogs living in Hua Hin for which people do not take care. The homeless dogs have to find food by themselfs. Hua Hin Municipal runs dog shelter where care is taken for a lot of dogs. There is a veterinarian at the shelter to care for sick dogs.

Hua Hin Lord Mayor Khun Sirapan Kamolpramoth spoke to all present that HM the King would like to see that Hua Hin residents take care of dogs. Hua Hin Municipality runs King's Project which purpose is to take care of the homeless dog in Hua Hin. He has urged Hua Hin residents to show their love to dogs and take care for some of the homeless dogs.

After Lord Mayor's speech, the Governor has lead procession of Hua Hin residents with their dogs through Hua Hin streets. There were many Hua Hin residents watching dogs procession and cheering all the time.

During the day there were many dog shows and tests of instinct, trainability, obedience, exhibition how to feed dogs and test the dogs habit and to organize the parties of dogs for racing.
