On Tuesday 06 January 2009 in evening at the Garden Restaurant Director General of TAT Prachuapkhirikhan Province Khun Pinnart Chareonpol has welcomed members of the press and media of Prachuapkhirikhan & Phetchaburi Provinces to a prearranged meeting. Journalists from Daily News, Thairat, Kao-sod, Naewna, Prachuap Post, Hua Hin Today, Hua Hin Hotline, Prachuap News, Hua Hin Sarn, Sieng-Prachuap, Cable TV and Sky Line Fm Radio Station have participated.
This is the first time members of all local press and media have been in invited by the current Director General of Provincial TAT. In the past Director General Wibull Nimitvanch used to organize regular meetings and invite press for educational trips to the South, Northern and Northeast Thailand.
Vice Director General Khun Chanyuth Sawakesuwan said that Khun Pinnart thought that it would be good ideas to meet members of local press and media and to get know each. This will create better communication between both parties and allow inform the public about TAT initiatives. Then Khun Chanyuth has invited Director General to the stage.
Khun Pinnart said that she always wanted meet member of local press and media. This meeting gave her opportunity establish new contacts. She intends arrange regular meetings with press and media in the future and provide regular briefs for them. She said that she had a pleasure meet not only the young journalist tonight. She was pleased to meet Loong Tuck Dechapanya who has started his work as a journalist sixty years ago.
Khun Chanyuth has invited in turns President of the Travel Business Association for Hua Hin / Cha.am area Khun Phairoch Markmoo and Khun Tuck Dechapanya to the stage. Khun Phairoch and Khun Tuck have wished everybody present Happy New Year and have expressed their delight that the meeting between TAT and press has been organized. When the meeting has finished Khun Pinnart Chareonpol has presented TAT bags with goodies to members of the press and media.
