Meeting of Naval Committees Region 1


Naval Committees Secretariat Office for Security Development in Naval Region 1 hold a meeting on protection & correction plan for land & marine terrorism

RAdm. Surachai Sangkhaphong, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Royal Thai Navy Region 1, presided over the 2nd meeting on protection & correction plan for land & marine terrorism.  Capt. Akesupphasit Burana-Osot on behalf of a secretary of Office for Security Development in Naval Region 1 was reporting that the aim of the meeting was to carry on protection & correction plan for land & marine terrorism as well as to preserve the national heritage.  The aforementioned naval committees were composed of those representatives from various provinces in the region 1; Trad, Chantaburi, Rayong, Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Samutprakarn, Samutsakhon, Samutsongkram, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khirikhan, Pattaya City as well as other Naval representatives such as Chantaburi & Trad Border Protection Headquarter, Royal Thai Marine Corps, Bangkok Naval Base, Sattahib Naval Base and Air and Coastal Defense Command, totaling 35 participants. 

This meeting was aimed to monitor the annual action plan which was set to work with other provinces as well as to discuss for annual security working plan in accordance with each problem in the area by considering its priority.

RAdm.Surachai Sangkhaphong said that the meeting had been under responsibility of Royal Thai Army, region 1.  He also extended that the meeting was also aimed to inform the right action plan that should be taken and adapted by each province and Royal Thai Army for the best result of national security protection.
