Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade 2009

Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin on behalf of Hua Hin Hotelier’s Club has cooperated with Vintage Car Club of Thailand under kind support of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Hua Hin City Municipality to held “Hua Hin Vintage Car Parade 2009” during December 18-20, 2009, with the main objective of Hua Hin’s tourism promotion and conserving precious vintage cars which are rare to see at the present.

Mrs. Pinnart Charoenphol, director of TAT Prachuap Khirikhan, revealed that 50-vintage car procession will be paraded from Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok on Friday morning 18th Dec. 2009, and will drop by King Rama II Park, Amphawa District, Samutsongkram Province before lunch and some tourist attractions at Phetchaburi Province. The parade will arrive at the destination; Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin before official ceremony and 50-meter buffet dinner prepared by professional cooks, with reasonable price 250 THB. for each, at Hua Hin Market Village Shopping Center.

Saturday 19 Dec. 2009, the parade will move to Sirinart Rachinee Mangrove Educational Center (used to be abandoned shrimp farm) which is one of HM. The King’s Initial Projects. Moreover in the afternoon there will be vintage car sightseeing for charity, just only 250 THB. for a person, pick up in front of Sofitel Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin. At 17:00, the vintage car parade (dress in Thai national costume) will move around Hua Hin City for other tourists, on the occasion of Hua Hin Century Anniversary before charity Gala Diner at Sofitel Centara Hua Hin’s swimming pool.

To joint the party of vintage car parade 2009, you can reserve a ticket 2,000 THB/person, you will also have a chance to take part in an auction, traditional and classical dress contest, musical performance and other activities on the stage.
