Khun Tuck Dechapanya

Khun Tuck has had a long and distinguished career in local politics. He has been elected to the municipal council six times, served on the provincial assembly during four administrations and has been a very popular vice Mayor of Hua Hin.

A journalist since the age of 19 he has exposed a number of corrupt practices over the years and led several succesful campaigns on behalf of unfortunate or disenfranchised people who would not normally attract a strong advocate. His intervention to ask the King to tell the water board that they must restore the water supply to Hua Hin is a well know story.

Khun Tuck is currently a very active member of the Prachuabkhirikhan Conciliation Committee. He takes part in many conciliation cases involving foreigners living in Hua Hin. He is also the President of Hua Hin Thai Culture Association. Every year in December he organize Hua Hin Thai Culture Festival.

Khun Tuck has agreed to give his support Hua Hin Foreigner Service Link Center and our website. He writes almost daily news articles for www.huahinexpat.com and www.huahinnews.net. He also has a column about Hua Hin expats problems in Hua Hin Hotline Newspaper. He wants assist foreigners living in Hua Hin area with their problems. He has already helped resolve many conflict cases involving foreign property buyers and foreign property developers. Every day he receives phone calls from foreigners living in Hua Hin regarding their problems.
